Hi, this is the Insider Threat Team letting you know about where some of us will be appearing in the coming weeks. We will be addressing topics related to insider threats, risk, and cybersecurity at events in both the U.S. and Australia as well as in a virtual roundtable.

September 5
The first appearance is by Dawn Cappelli at the 2012 Security in Government Conference in Canberra, Australia. Dawn will present Insider Threat from Trusted Business Partners at 9:05AM. The conference is a meeting of agency security advisers focusing on protective security issues.

September 18
Dawn Cappelli is appearing with the FBI's David Borushko in the Insider Threat Awareness Virtual Roundtable. This free virtual event will be held on September 18, 2012 at 2:00PM and will address the common characteristics and indicators of insider threats and help security staff, private-sector owners and operators, government agencies and organizations, and employees from all industries to deal with insider threats. To attend this event, please register before September 14, 2012.

September 24
Randy Trzeciak is appearing as a panelist to discuss the topic Combatting Insider Threats: Expert Perspectives at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Cyber Security Summit in Arlington, Virginia. This summit showcases industry experts, government executives, and thought leaders from across the transportation sector who provide memorable, thought provoking presentations and participate in stimulating panel discussions.

October 15
Dawn Cappelli is appearing as a panelist to discuss the topic Risk and Cybersecurity at the NACD Board Leadership Conference in National Harbor, Maryland. The panel discussion starts at 11:15 a.m. This conference professes to be the premier conference in corporate governance.
