Abstract
Any cyber-physical system (CPS) has a wide variety of potential threats that can compromise the integrity of the system. The traditional approach used to handle this is to employ one or more threat modeling methods (TMMs) early in the development cycle. SEI researchers Nataliya Shevchenko, Brent Frye, and Carol Woody seek to address the question of what characteristics any good TMM should have.
