This September, the SEI will be coming to Los Angeles to offer two onsite professional development courses, Documenting Software Architectures and Software Architecture Design and Analysis. Successful completion of these two courses fulfills two of the four requirements toward the SEI Software Architecture Professional Certificate, which can help you gain the skills and acquire the experience to enhance your career.
The first course, Documenting Software Architectures, will be held from September 9 to September 10, 2013. This two-day course provides in-depth coverage of effective software-architecture documentation practices. This course presents the information in the context of prevailing prescriptive models, including the Rational Unified Process (RUP), the Siemens Four Views software approach, the IEEE 1471-2000 standard, and the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The second course, Software Architecture Design and Analysis, will take place from September 11 to September 12, 2013. The courses have been scheduled back to back for those interested in taking full advantage of their time in Los Angeles by completing two courses in the certification track.
