April 30, 2019—The SEI’s CERT National Insider Threat Center (NITC) will host the 6th Annual Insider Threat Symposium on May 10 in Arlington, Va. This year's theme is "Addressing the Challenges of Maturing an Insider Threat (Risk) Program."
“Many organizations’ insider threat programs have been in operation for some time now, and they’re ready to move beyond their initial capabilities,” said Randy Trzeciak, director of the CERT NITC. “This symposium is for insider threat practitioners to come together and share experiences with maturing their programs, both their setbacks and their successes.”
Trzeciak will open the symposium, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program features panel sessions and presentations by more than a dozen speakers from government, private industry, and academia, including the SEI’s CERT Division.
Members of the Department of Defense, U.S. and international governments, and public-sector insider threat programs are invited to attend the symposium. Registration is free, but space is limited.
