SATURN 2020 Conference Announces Program and Speakers

February 19, 2019—The SEI Architecture Technology User Network (SATURN) 2020 Conference recently announced its full technical program. The four-day event will feature more than 40 courses, tutorials, keynote addresses, invited talks, experience reports, and technical talks by software architecture experts from around the world. SATURN 2020 will be held May 11-14 in Orlando, Florida.
The technical program covers architecture design, microservice architecture, DevOps, Internet of Things (IoT), mobile apps, edge computing, device data management, technical debt, and more. The 16th annual conference kicks off with the courses “Machine Learning and Software Systems,” “Essential Microservice Architecture,” and “DevSecOps: Align with the Right Architecture to Deploy Securely.” Evening events include Monday’s “Welcome Reception and Speed Networking Fun” and Tuesday’s “SATURN Celebration Reception.”
SATURN 2020 will feature two keynote speakers. On Tuesday, Yuanyuan (YY) Zhou, the Qualcomm Chair Professor in Mobile Computing at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), will speak on “The Human Dimension of Cloud Computing.” Wednesday’s keynote speaker will be Chris Bergh, head chef, CEO, and founder of DataOps firm DataKitchen, who will deliver “Your Data Nerd Friends Need You!”
Other invited speakers include Jayne Groll, CEO of the DevOps Institute; Don Schenck, a digital evangelist at Red Hat; and Daniel Justice, a software developer at the SEI.
Registration for SATURN 2020 is now open. Early bird registration ends March 27. SATURN 2020 is being held at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. Reservations can be made online until April 20.
