Nomination Period Extended for Northrop Software Architecture Award
• Article
March 10, 2020—The SEI has extended the nomination period for the Linda M. Northrop Software Architecture Award to March 27. The award is given to an individual or team that has used software architecture to significantly improve practices, outcomes, or both in an organization or in the software-development community. To nominate an individual or team, email northrop-award@sei.cmu.edu with a nomination letter and two endorsement letters from people external to the nominee’s organization.
New this year, the award recipient does not need to be present at the 2020 SEI Architecture Technology User Network (SATURN) Conference to be eligible for the award. The recipient may choose either to attend SATURN to share experiences and insights in an invited talk or to present in an SEI webcast.
The award is named for Linda M. Northrop, who led the SEI program that was instrumental in the creation and development of the field of software architecture.
