FloCon 2025 Opens Call for Participation
Article

October 15, 2024—FloCon 2025, the Software Engineering Institute’s annual conference on data-driven security, has opened its call for participation. Operational and data analysts, tool developers, researchers, security professionals, and others interested in data-driven security are invited to submit abstracts to FloCon’s submission website by December 20. FloCon will be held in person in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, March 4-6, 2025.

FloCon is a practitioner conference focusing on defending enterprise networks by applying scalable analytics to data observed from all network vantage points. The theme for the 2025 event is “Situational Awareness: Beyond the Network.” Conference organizers are seeking submissions about novel uses of big data to address hard security problems.

Abstracts for presentations, posters, and demonstrations must describe the theory, creation, implementation, or operational use of data to support the analytic processes and procedures of public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The strongest submissions will offer conference attendees actionable insights, useful code, or new analytics to implement.

Abstracts for FloCon 2025 are due by December 20. For questions about submitting abstracts, email flocontact@cert.org. For more information on FloCon, visit the event’s website.
