May 6, 2021—The SEI has opened registration for DevSecOps Days Pittsburgh 2021, to be held June 16 from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (EDT). In this free, virtual meeting, DevSecOps professionals will learn from fellow practitioner successes, discover ideas on integrating security into teams, and gain insights on automating security within the entire developer and production pipeline.
DevSecOps Days is a series of global, one- and two-day conferences helping to educate, evolve, and explore concepts around developing security as code. The DevSecOps Days Community, a group of international volunteers that provide a central hub of DevSecOps resources, coordinates the series and has partnered with the SEI on three DevSecOps Days: Pittsburgh on June 16, Los Angeles on September 15, and Washington, D.C., on October 6. All three events will be held virtually.
“One of the common principles of DevSecOps is collaboration,” said Hasan Yasar, the SEI’s technical director of continuous deployment of capability and the event’s organizer. “Let’s use DevSecOps Days to share and learn from others’ stories about DevSecOps initiatives and perhaps even their insight into problems you may be facing. Together we can collectively increase our application security posture to build a safer world.”
The SEI hosted two virtual DevSecOps Days meetings in 2020: DevSecOps Days Pittsburgh and Washington. Videos of both events are available on the SEI’s YouTube channel, and the Pittsburgh and Washington session presentations are available in the SEI’s Digital Library.
