DevSecOps Days Los Angeles 2021 Opens Registration and Call for Speakers
Article

July 21, 2021—The Los Angeles edition of DevSecOps Days 2021, the conference on building security into DevOps, has opened its call for speakers. DevSecOps practitioners are invited to submit abstracts to the event’s website by August 9. The SEI will host the virtual DevSecOps Days Los Angeles on September 15. Registration for this free event is also now open.

DevSecOps practitioners may submit up to two abstracts, though only one abstract may be accepted per speaker. Speaking slots are 30 minutes. Example topics include insights learned from practitioner successes, integrating security into teams, and automating security within the entire developer and production pipeline.

DevSecOps Days is a series of global, one- and two-day conferences helping to educate, evolve, and explore concepts around developing security as code. The DevSecOps Days Community, a group of international volunteers that provide a central hub of DevSecOps resources, coordinates the series and has partnered with the SEI on three virtual DevSecOps Days: Pittsburgh on June 16, Los Angeles on September 15, and Washington, D.C., on October 6. Presentations and videos from the June 16 event are available in the SEI’s Digital Library.

Last year, the SEI hosted two virtual DevSecOps Days meetings: DevSecOps Days Pittsburgh and Washington. Videos of both events are available on the SEI’s YouTube channel, and the Pittsburgh and Washington session presentations are available in the SEI’s Digital Library.
