Abstract

DevSecOps Days Pittsburgh 2021 was hosted by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and held virtually on June 16, 2021. DevSecOps Days is a global series of one and two day conferences helping to educate, evolve, and explore concepts around developing security as code. Attendees meet fellow practitioners integrating security into their DevOps practices, learn about their journeys, share ideas on integrating security into their teams, and trade insights on automating security tools in their DevOps pipeline.

Hasan is a senior software engineer, software architect, and manager with 20+ years of experience in all phases of software development and the information modeling process. He has extensive knowledge of current software tools and techniques and extensive hands-on experience in software development in the areas of digital data incident handling, network security assessment, automated large-scale malware triage/analysis, medical record management, accounting, simulation systems, and document management.

Hasan has been with Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute (SEI) since 2010 and is currently the Technical Director for the Continuous Deployment of Capability team within the SEI's Software Solutions Division.

Hasan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Gazi University.
