The TSP Symposium 2011 theme was A Dedication to Excellence, in honor of the late Watts Humphrey, who was commonly referred to as the “Father of Software Quality.” Among his many accomplishments—including founding the Software Process Program at the SEI and receiving the National Medal of Technology—Humphrey played a significant role in the development of the Team Software Process.
