Nikhil has been actively involved in setting the strategy, vision, and direction of enterprise cybersecurity architectures for over 3 decades and is Co-Chair of the Open Groups Zero Trust Architecture Working Group, an initiative engaged in setting industry definition of Zero Trust, through Standards, Certifications, Communications and Community engagement. The initial publication on the Zero Trust Core Principles was foundational in President Biden’s Cybersecurity directive. The Working Group involves The Open Group, NIST, SABSA, and numerous commercial and governmental members of The Open Group.
