Abstract

In this paper, a switching watermarking-based detection scheme is proposed to detect replay attacks while also limiting the adversary’s knowledge about additive water-marking signals to ensure unpredictability. The unpredictability is introduced by appropriate switching through a trade-off between detection performance and information entropy, which makes it challenging for adversaries to estimate the additive watermarking signals. In addition, we compare the detection performance of Neyman-Pearson detector and χ² detector. Simulation results show the efficacy of the proposed approach.
