While nothing is certain about the future, it seems clear that network security and network traffic analysis needs will \endure and expand in the coming years. As such, some forecasting and needs analysis for the education and training related to these activities is warranted. This presentation describes the likely skills, abilities, and challenges for network traffic analysts in the coming three- to five-year timeframe and lays out some structure for possible education and training to prepare analysts for them.
