In this episode of Intersect, Matthew Butkovic, CISA, CISSP interviewed Dan Costa about how the SEI’s Insider Risk team conducts empirical research and develops socio-technical solutions that allow organizations to reduce the impact and likelihood of insider attacks. They also discussed an opening for an Insider Risk Engineer on the Insider Risk team. This new team member will contribute to the team’s research and engineering agendas by collecting data from various sources, which include practitioner surveys, assessments of specific organizations, court records, and incident reports. The individual in this role will also perform analyses, develop and validate technical controls, and interpret and summarize research findings.
