Abstract
FloCon is sponsored by the CERT Division of the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. It is the only conference that focuses on network flow analysis, which gleans security information from compact summaries of network traffic and connections. The bulletin includes a link to more information on Flocon 2017, which will be held in January. In addition, this issue features recent blog posts, podcasts, and current job opportunities at the SEI.
