Roxxanne White
Software Engineering Institute
A graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, Roxxanne White is a machine learning researcher at the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute, where she pursues research interests in machine learning and cyber security. While earning her Bachelor of Computer Science, she was a part of a Microsoft mentorship program, conducted undergraduate research that focused on neural networks, and served as a mentor and an instructional assistant helping to lead an intro to programming course. White was a cyber security analyst intern for the U.S. Army DEVCOM DAC at White Sands Missile Range where she focused on fundamental cyber security concepts and had the opportunity to present a summer's work to Congresswoman Veronica Escobar, Undersecretary of the Army Greg Camarillo, and many others.
