Lauren Hoge is a data scientist in the CERT Division of Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute.

She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Industrial Engineering and a certificate in Engineering Data Analytics. Her capstone project involved developing a simulation-based tool to predict potential satellite threats for the U.S. Space Force's Space Domain Awareness TAP (Tools, Applications, and Processing) Lab.

While in school, Hoge worked in Industrial Engineering at Walt Disney World and in Continuous Improvement at MSA Safety.
