Katherine-Marie Robinson

Katherine-Marie Robinson is an assistant design researcher in the SEI’s AI Division. Since joining the SEI in September 2022, Robinson has worked on a wide variety of projects where she aims to bring a responsible AI (RAI) lens to the work at hand including researching and developing tools, curriculums, and frameworks. Robinson also spearheaded an RAI tools analysis, evaluating over 60 different RAI tools at different stages in the AI engineering lifecycle.

Robinson recently attended the AAAI/ACM Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, and Society (AIES) conference and Grace Hopper Celebration conference and co-presented at the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) conference in October 2023.

Robinson earned a Master of Science in Digital Transformation and Innovation and obtained a BASc in Biomedical Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Computing Technology, all from the University of Ottawa.
